Apron Anxiety: October Round-Up

Many thanks to members who read and reviewed October’s book, Apron Anxiety: My Messy Affairs In and Out of the Kitchen by Alyssa Shelasky. We know that it takes some dedication to a book club to successfully read a book on time AND write a review of it. Thanks for participating. Have a look at the reviews:

Our November book is the newly published Best Food Writing 2013, edited by Holly Hughes. Feel free to read all the pieces or just one or two and tell us what you thought.  Post your review any time in the last week of November and come back here on 1 December for a round-up of them all. New members are always welcome to join. Find out more about us.

Forward planning for members: December is a really busy month! You are welcome to review any cookbook in December. Perhaps your favourite (most used? most opened?) cookbook of 2013? In a month where bloggers like to look back over the year and post some reflections, maybe you can include your favourite cookbook of the year in a 2013 retrospective post that you already have planned for your blog.

More forward planning: The first three of next year’s books are listed on our book list page. Christmas present suggestions?!
