August Book Selection: The Sweet Life In Paris by David Lebovitz

Our poll for the August book selection for The Kitchen Reader has now closed.  In August, we will read “The Sweet Life in Paris:  Delicious Adventures in the World’s Most Glorious and Perplexing City” by David Lebovitz.  Please post a review of this book on your blog on Monday, August 31.

We did have a lot of votes for Julie & Julia: 365 days, 524 recipes, 1 tiny apartment kitchen by Julie Powell(This book also goes by the title Julie & Julia: My Year of Cooking Dangerously.) Why don’t we read that in September, that way, if you need to place a book order or reserve the title at your local library, you’ll have plenty of time to do so.

Also, there were 9 votes in the poll and there are only 6 of us listed as members.  This could have just been random, but if you voted in the poll and aren’t on our blogroll, please email me at thekitchenreader@gmail.com and I will add you to our group!

Welcome to our newest member, Karen, of Shortbread South. Be sure to stop by her blog and get to know her!

I look forward to getting to know you all!

Happy Reading!
